The Polar Fleece book focuses on embroidery on fleece with Nancy Cornwall. She walks you thru the neat ideas and important techniques when embroidering on fleece. This fun material is much different than denim, and it can be helpful to not only learn the do's and don'ts for fabric handling/hooping/stabilizing etc, but also the neat effects you can get with different types of designs on fleece - dimensional, trapunto, cutwork and even chenille! 20 designs are provided and adapted for 85 variations.

The neat feature about the sample designs for this series is that she shows you what to look for in an existing design (that may not have been digitized as a cutwork design, for example) to be able to customize it in different way. Through the samples that are given you can see the "feature" of the design that makes it easily customizable to a specific technique and then you can go back into your design stash and find designs that you already own that would also work in this new style.
